Brazil's GAFFFF Sorriso Forum convenes 27 governors and launches agritech program
From July 23 to 26, the Global Agribusiness Forum, Food, Festival & Fellowship (GAFFFF) is being held at the Parque Tecnológico Luiz Giroletti in Sorriso, Brazil. The opening day features a Panel of Honor titled “Agro as a Motor of State Development,” gathering governors and representatives from all 27 Brazilian states to discuss the strategic role of agribusiness in the country’s economic and social growth.
The Faculdade Centro Mato‑Grossense (FACEM) is curating a parallel “Palco Sementes” program during the four‑day event. The schedule includes free, public talks on topics such as artificial intelligence, digital agriculture, biotechnology, carbon credit markets, and the future skills needed in the agro‑sector. Faculty members and invited experts will address leadership, data‑driven farming, satellite monitoring, and business 5.0, aiming to link academic knowledge with market demands.
In addition to the business and technical sessions, GAFFFF Sorriso offers exhibitions, culinary experiences, a Grand Rodeo PBR, and nightly concerts by national artists, creating a broad platform for networking, innovation, and cultural exchange within Brazil’s agribusiness community.
