Brazil's Health Sector Gains Momentum with Jamef's R$10 Million Hospital Logistics Investment and Shift to Digital, Flex

Jamef Transportes announced an investment of more than R$10 million to expand its Hospital Logistics vertical. The funding will support a new unit in Campinas (São Paulo) and the broader scaling of the service, including AI‑based monitoring tools and staff training, with a target to increase the division’s revenue by up to 300 % over the next two years.

At the same time, Brazil’s supplemental health market is undergoing a structural transformation. Driven by rising care costs, an aging population and rapid digitalisation, operators are launching more affordable, flexible and digitally‑enabled plans. The National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) reported 53.2 million beneficiaries at the end of 2025, 72 % of whom are covered by corporate collective plans. The number of companies buying such plans grew 48 % from 2020 to 2024, reflecting a growing use of health benefits for talent attraction and employee well‑being.
