Brazil's Inspiramais fair draws 7,000 visitors, generates $3 million in deals

The 34th edition of the Inspiramais material fair opened on 7 July at the Centro de Eventos Pro Magno in São Paulo and continued on 8 July. Organized by Assintecal with partners Abit, Abimóvel and Brazilian Materials, the event hosted about 150 exhibitors and welcomed more than 7,000 participants, including designers, industry professionals and students.

Over 1,000 innovative and sustainable materials were presented. Through the Project Buyer programme, which facilitated more than 520 meetings among 60 participating companies, the fair recorded business transactions exceeding US$ 3 million. International buyers from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Turkey attended under an ApexBrasil agreement. The fair’s leaders, including Assintecal president José Cláudio Blos and superintendent Silvana Dilly, highlighted its role in inspiring Brazilian fashion and boosting the national supply chain.
