CNU 2 publishes new classification of 702 federal candidates
The Escola Nacional de Administração Pública (ENAP), linked to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI), released a new classification for the second edition of the Concurso Público Nacional Unificado (CNU 2). The list, published in the Official Gazette on 31 July 2026 under Edital 228/2026, includes 702 candidates: 242 placed in remanescent immediate vacancies and 460 in additional immediate vacancies.
The vacancies are split between the Ministry of Management, which offers 208 remanescent and 300 additional analyst‑technical‑administrative positions, and the Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS), which offers 34 remanescent and 160 additional analyst‑of‑social‑security positions across specialties such as social work, physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, IT, engineering, law, accounting, administration and statistics. The reclassification was necessary to fill unfilled slots from earlier convocations and to accommodate new positions authorized by the MGI.
The second edition of the CNU, held in the second half of 2025, originally provided 3,652 vacancies across 32 federal bodies, organized into nine thematic blocks.
