Brazil's Ipea releases updated anti‑racism platform for public administration

The Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (Ipea) has launched a new version of the Plataforma de Recursos Pró‑Equidade em Políticas Públicas, called Inclua. Developed with the Ministry of Racial Equality, the platform is designed to improve the quality of public‑service delivery for Brazil's Black population by translating research on racial inequality into practical tools.

The update adds a “Temáticas” tab with diagnostic instruments for racial exclusion risks, an artificial‑intelligence assistant that helps draft action plans, and a collection of anti‑racist public‑management resources. Created in 2022, Inclua is available to all levels of government – federal, state and municipal – as well as companies that provide services to the state, and includes tutorials and a feedback channel. "É no cotidiano das interações das pessoas com os serviços públicos, que essas desigualdades podem ser mitigadas ou reforçadas", said Roberto Pires, coordinator of the platform.
