Brazil Publishes Final Results for CNU2 Public Service Exam
On Friday, 3 May, Brazil’s Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) and the National School of Public Administration (Enap) released the final classification of candidates for the second edition of the Concurso Público Nacional Unificado (CNU2). The list includes those approved for immediate vacancies and those placed on waiting lists for positions submitted to Phase 5, Phase 6 and the second stage of the selection process.
The competition offered 3 652 vacancies across 32 federal agencies, with 3 144 upper‑level and 508 intermediate‑level positions. Candidates are grouped into nine thematic blocks such as social security, science and technology, engineering, and justice and defence. The exam maintained reserved quotas for Black, Indigenous, quilombola and people with disabilities, and applied a gender‑parity mechanism that resulted in about 24 000 women (57 % of registrants) taking the tests.
Successful applicants must meet legal requirements – minimum age, diploma, up‑to‑date electoral/military obligations and a medical exam – before assuming office. The full results are available on the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) website, and the responsible agencies will now begin administrative procedures to appoint the new public servants, subject to budget availability.
