Brazil's MGI annuls CNU 2 call for 544 remaining vacancies
The Brazilian Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) has annulled the call for candidates from the second edition of the National Unified Exam (CNU 2) to fill 544 remaining vacancies. The decision, published in the Official Gazette on Tuesday, follows the identification of data inconsistencies regarding three of the 544 positions.
Although the errors were limited to a small number of vacancies, the MGI opted for a full revocation of the notice to ensure accuracy. Because the CNU model allows candidates to compete for multiple positions simultaneously, changes in one vacancy can affect the entire calling sequence for other roles.
The Ministry is currently re-consulting all participating agencies and entities to confirm which vacancies are effectively available. A new list of summoned candidates will be processed and published in the Official Gazette by the end of October. This new list may result in different candidates being called than those originally listed in the annulled notice.
