Brazil's MGI authorizes CNU appointments and updates

The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) has initiated several updates regarding the Concurso Nacional Unificado (CNU). A new round of interest manifestation has been opened for candidates on the waiting list from the first edition of the CNU 2024, a mandatory step prior to potential appointment and inauguration.

Additionally, the MGI has authorized the appointment of 69 successful candidates from the second edition of the CNU to positions within Ancine, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), and the Ministry of Health. These appointments cover higher-level positions and are distributed as follows:

• ANP: 50 positions, primarily for specialists in petroleum, derivatives, alcohol, and natural gas regulation, as well as geology and geophysics. • Ancine: 10 positions. • Ministry of Health: 9 positions, distributed among the Evandro Chagas Institute (IEC), the National Cancer Institute (Inca), and the National Primates Center (Cenp).
