Brazil's Mobilidade Limpa 2026 Awards Highlight BYD, Geely and GWM Vehicles

The 4th Mobilidade Limpa 2026 award, organized by AutoInforme, recognized the most energy‑efficient cars and light commercial vehicles sold in Brazil. Winners were selected using the INMETRO Vehicle Labeling Programme data (942 models across electric, plug‑in, hybrid, flex‑fuel, gasoline and diesel categories) and announced during the Future Mobility 2026 event at the Anhembi district in São Paulo.

BYD’s Dolphin Mini and Geely’s EX2 achieved the best overall energy‑consumption indices (0.39 MJ / km) and received the General Champion trophies. In the large‑SUV 4×4 class, GWM’s Wey 07 was named the most efficient model, underscoring the Chinese manufacturer’s focus on sustainable mobility.

The prize aims to encourage manufacturers and importers to offer cleaner, more efficient vehicles and to inform Brazilian consumers about the greener options available, contributing to the country’s broader decarbonisation efforts.
