Capital Moto Week draws over 150,000 tourists to Brasília
Capital Moto Week, a combined motorcycle and rock festival, opened on 23 July at the Parque de Exposições da Granja do Torto in Brasília. The event runs until 1 August, offering 105 live shows across multiple stages, food courts, extreme‑sport activities, a children’s zone and exhibitions within a 400,000‑square‑metre complex. International acts such as Scotland’s Nazareth and Canada’s The Jailbirds headline, while dozens of Brazilian bands perform on secondary stages.
Organisers estimate the festival will attract more than 150,000 visitors to the Federal District during its two‑week run, generating a significant boost for local tourism, hospitality and retail sectors.
