Brazil's Neymar ruled out of World Cup match due to calf injury

Brazilian forward Neymar remains sidelined after sustaining a right calf muscle injury. He missed the team's opening Group C match against Morocco and will also miss the second group game against Haiti, leaving the Seleção without their top scorer.

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva joked about Neymar's absence during a hospital visit, quipping that the star “doesn't even play.” Meanwhile, Brazil's squad trained without seven other players, including four regular defenders, as they prepare for the upcoming match against Scotland. Despite the injuries, Neymar is expected to be available for the Scotland fixture, pending further recovery.

The team's coach Carlo Ancelotti has limited options, with only sixteen outfield players available for selection, while the team seeks at least a draw to advance to the knockout stage.
