Brazil's Northeast Coast Braces for Rain While Rio Grande do Sul Remains Dry This Weekend

The Brazil National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) predicts widespread showers across the coastal capitals of the Northeast region on Saturday, July 4, with rain expected in São Luís (MA), Fortaleza (CE), Natal (RN), João Pessoa (PB), Recife (PE) and other cities. Temperatures will stay high, ranging from 20 °C to 33 °C, and humidity will vary between 30 % and 70 %.

In contrast, the state of Rio Grande do Sul will experience dry conditions on Saturday and Sunday as a cold front that entered on Thursday moves away. A new front is expected to approach late Sunday, bringing rain to the northern half of the state from Monday through Tuesday, with accumulations between 0 mm and 50 mm, and isolated higher amounts in some areas.

Both forecasts are part of weekly agro‑meteorological bulletins that inform farmers and residents about expected precipitation and its impact on crops and daily activities.
