Brazil's Revenue Service Authorizes New Auditor Competition

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) has received authorization to open a public competition for 30 auditor-fiscal positions and 116 tax analyst posts, with the official notice expected within six months (by 3 January 2027). A free study guide, prepared by auditor‑fiscal Alexandre Ogata, has been released to help candidates begin preparation before the official edital is published.

In the state of Pará, the Secretariat of State Finance (Sefa) conducted a ceremony to appoint 189 newly selected tax officials, including auditors, fiscal revenue officers, and tax analysts. Of the appointees, 38% were hired under the state's affirmative‑action quota system for Black, Indigenous, quilombola, and disabled candidates.
