Brazil's Salmourão and Sebrae-SP Provide Free Transport Services

The municipality of Salmourão began offering free passenger transport to the neighboring city of Osvaldo Cruz on Monday, responding to the shutdown of the private Atílio Natal transport company. The service runs on weekdays, departing Salmourão at 8:30 a.m. and returning from Osvaldo Cruz at 3:00 p.m., with a stop in the Guarani neighbourhood, to ensure residents can reach banks, shops, medical appointments and public offices.

Separately, Sebrae-SP organized a free bus mission for entrepreneurs, veterinarians, zootecnists and students in the pet sector to attend the Pet South America 2026 trade fair and the concurrent Pet Vet Expo on 12 August. Buses will depart from Ourinhos at 3:30 a.m. and from Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo at 4:10 a.m., providing round‑trip transport to the event and aiming to stimulate local economic development and networking opportunities.
