Brazil's Sorriso GAFFFF Festival and Imperatriz Expoimp Drive Agribusiness Growth

The Global Agribusiness Festival (GAFFFF) will take place in Sorriso, Mato Graso, from July 23‑26 at the Luiz Giroletti Technology Park. Organisers expect 5,000‑7,000 daily visitors, 20,000‑28,000 total, and anticipate a direct financial impact of R$6‑14 million for the city, along with temporary jobs in construction, security, hospitality and services. The four‑day program combines technical forums, a business fair, culinary showcases, a Professional Bull Riders rodeo and national music concerts, positioning Sorriso as a national hub for large‑scale agribusiness events.

Meanwhile, the 56th Expoimp fair opens in Imperatriz, Maranhão, on July 4 and runs through July 12. The exhibition targets more than 350,000 visitors, over 100 exhibitors and up to R$1 billion in business transactions. Highlights include performances by Léo Magalhães, Calcinha Preta, Eduardo Costa and Luan Santana, a rodeo competition, children’s activities and professional courses offered with Faema and Senar. Both events are designed to strengthen regional economies, attract investment and showcase Brazil’s agribusiness sector.
