Brazil's Supplemental Health Leaders Gather in Bahia to Chart 2026 Outlook
On 29 July, the Clube de Seguros de Pessoas e Benefícios da Bahia (CSP Bahia) held a forum in Salvador Shopping Business, Tower America auditorium, at 14:30, to examine Brazil's supplemental health (private health‑insurance) sector.
The guest speaker was Bruno Sobral de Carvalho, executive director of the Federação Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (FenaSaúde). He presented an analysis of the sector’s challenges and trends for the second half of 2026, covering rising assistive‑care costs, regulatory changes, the incorporation of new technologies and sustainability concerns. He noted that “the supplemental health sector is undergoing a period of transformation; the challenges are many, but the market also offers new growth opportunities.”
The event brought together insurance brokers, benefits professionals and market representatives. CSP Bahia president Antonio Daniel Mota highlighted the need for continuous professional updating. Registration was free.
