Brazil's Tesouro Direto app to be shut down on August 17

The official Tesouro Direto mobile application for Android and iOS will be deactivated on 17 August 2026. After that date investors must use the online Portal do Investidor or the banking app of the institution where their account is held to view balances, make applications and redeem securities.

Tesouro Direto assures that the closure does not affect existing holdings: titles, invested amounts, yields and other data remain unchanged on the B3 registry. The change is part of a planned new digital experience for investors, for which no launch date has been announced yet.

The app is already unavailable for download from the Play Store and App Store. Users can continue to access their portfolios through the portal using CPF, Gov.br credentials, or the login details of their financial institution.
