Brazil's top dividend stocks outpace market in first half of 2026
The OIDIV dividend index on Brazil's B3 exchange outperformed both the Ibovespa and the CDI in the first six months of 2026, driven by a group of high‑yielding shares. PetroRecôncavo (RECV3) led the list with a 12.06% dividend yield for the period, followed by Copel (CPLE3) at 8.67% and Allos (ALOS3) at 6.18%. Several of these issuers also appeared among the stocks most recommended for the next half‑year by major Brazilian banks and brokerage firms.
Santander's dividend‑focused portfolio for July 2026 returned 12.88%, well above the Ibovespa's 7.04% gain. The portfolio favours low‑volatility, low‑debt equities that provide steady payouts, with top allocations to Allos, Petrobras, Copel, Cury and Itaúsa, among others. The strategy combines dividend yield optimisation with potential capital appreciation.
