Brazil's wine and jazz festivals draw crowds in Bento Gonçalves and Araruama
The Wine Garden Miolo in the Vale dos Vinhedos, Bento Gonçalves, hosted the 4th Blues & Jazz Festival on July 18‑19, 2026. Attendees paid R$40 for full‑day access, a personalized acrylic glass, wine and sparkling tastings from the Miolo Wine Group, and a menu of specially prepared dishes. Four acts performed: The Cotton Pickers, Chico Petracco Trio, Jazz Cinnamon and Priscila & The Honeydrippers.
From July 31 to August 2, the Praça Antônio Raposo in Araruama held a Wine & Jazz Festival that paired local restaurant offerings with regional wines. Chef Ana Paula Zanatta of Zanatta Bistrô highlighted pairings such as shrimp with Sauvignon Blanc and salmon with Chardonnay or Pinot Noir, emphasizing the event’s role in promoting the city’s enogastronomic tourism.
