Brazzaville: 33 young ecology ambassadors appointed

The association Human Empress has appointed 33 young ecology ambassadors for the Congo Basin in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. This appointment follows the third edition of the ‘Couronne verte’ program.

The ambassadors' two-year mandate follows five months of training focused on personal and collaborative leadership, eco-citizenship, project management, community engagement, and green economy initiatives. During the program, participants developed 15 projects covering areas such as agroecology, waste recycling, renewable energy, and sustainable communication.

Three of these projects received specific support from Human Empress and its partners, while all 15 project leaders received assistance in structuring their initiatives. This support was provided by the National Agency for the Valorization of Research Results and Innovation (Anvri).
