Bárbara Bandeira announces ‘Maresia’ acoustic tour

Singer Bárbara Bandeira will launch her acoustic tour, titled ‘Maresia’, starting in December in Leiria. The tour is scheduled to run through April, visiting various Portuguese locations including Chaves, Santa Maria da Feira, Espinho, Coimbra, Braga, Vilamoura, and Sintra.

According to Warner Music Portugal, the tour will feature more personal songs and themes previously unpresented live. The show will include a special installation by artist Joana Vasconcelos, also titled ‘Maresia’, which incorporates elements such as crochet, embroidery, and beads inspired by northern Portugal.

The tour follows Bandeira’s recent musical projects, including ‘Lusa: ato II’, which celebrates the Portuguese language and features a duet with Amália Rodrigues.
