Bárbara Galvão to compete in São Luís rhythmic gymnastics tournament

The Northeast Regional Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament is taking place in São Luís, Maranhão, from Wednesday (26) to Saturday (29). Held at the Castelinho Gymnasium, the event features 402 athletes representing nine states from the region.

Brazilian National Team gymnast Bárbara Galvão is among the participants. The 23-year-old Pan-American three-time champion and World Cup winner is part of the national selection for the 2025–2028 Olympic cycle. The competition includes categories for Pre-Infant, Infant, Youth, and Adult, and serves as a qualifier for the National Tournament.

The event is organized by the Maranhão Gymnastics Federation (Femag) with support from the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG) and the State Secretariat of Sport and Leisure (Sedel).
