Bärbel Bas cancels scheduled ARD interview due to family reasons
The German broadcaster ARD has announced a last-minute change to its Monday night programming following the cancellation of a scheduled interview with SPD politician Bärbel Bas.
According to a spokesperson for the broadcaster, Bas cancelled all her appointments late last week due to family reasons. This included the planned episode of the political interview format ‘Konfrontation: Markus Feldenkirchen trifft Bärbel Bas’.
The interview, which was intended to feature Spiegel journalist Markus Feldenkirchen, has been postponed, and a new broadcast date has not yet been set. In its place, ARD will air ‘Paris: Liebe, Luxus, Likes’ and ‘ARD History: Stuttgart 21 - Die Jahrhundertbaustelle’.
