Bárcena de Campos sanitation collector renovation project launched

The Junta de Castilla y León has opened the bidding process for the renovation of a sanitation collector section in Bárcena de Campos. The project has a tender budget of 233,557 euros plus VAT and an expected execution period of 12 months.

The works involve replacing approximately 500 meters of old concrete pipes with corrugated PVC pipes along the P-232 road. This intervention aims to resolve recurring blockage issues and improve service reliability. The project is part of the ‘zero untreated water’ strategy and is funded through a collaboration between the Junta de Castilla y León (40%), the Diputación de Palencia (40%), and the Bárcena de Campos City Council (20%).
