Bård Tufte Johansen to step down as host of Nytt på nytt

Bård Tufte Johansen will step down as the host of the Norwegian comedy program ‘Nytt på nytt’ following the conclusion of the autumn season. The announcement was made by NRK, marking the end of Johansen’s nearly ten-year tenure in the role.

Johansen, who took over the hosting duties from Jon Almaas in January 2017, expressed that he chose to depart on a milestone anniversary. He noted that while it is difficult to let go of the program, he believes the change will allow for necessary renewal. NRK has not yet announced a successor for the position.
