BRDE and Codel partner to expand credit access for Londrina businesses

The Regional Development Bank of the Far South (BRDE) and the Londrina Development Institute (Codel) have signed a technical cooperation agreement to expand access to credit for companies in Londrina, Brazil.

The partnership aims to identify productive sector demands, provide technical guidance, and facilitate access to BRDE financing lines. This initiative is designed to boost the productivity and competitiveness of local businesses in sectors such as commerce, services, education, health, agriculture, and technology. Codel will be trained to intermediate access to these funds, which reportedly offer some of the lowest interest rates on the market.

In addition to supporting private enterprises, BRDE presented financing alternatives for the municipal public sector, covering areas such as urban mobility, sanitation, public lighting, sustainability, and public management modernization. BRDE President Heraldo Neves stated that the move is part of a broader strategy to bring the bank closer to the municipalities and entrepreneurs it serves.
