Bródy Sándor Library hosts National Library Days programs

The Bródy Sándor Library in Eger is participating in the National Library Days from October 5 to 11, 2026. This year’s national campaign, organized by the Information and Library Association, focuses on the theme of optimism.

To mark the occasion, the library is offering several discounts, including half-price annual reading cards across all departments and discounted memberships for the Bródy JátékTár. Additionally, the library is hosting a “Week of Forgiveness,” allowing patrons to return overdue documents without late fees. Digitalization services for old family video and audio recordings are also available at a reduced rate.

The week’s programming includes a nature photography exhibition by Sándor Jakab, a lecture on military history titled “Hadik in Berlin” by Balázs Lázár, and training sessions regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the library.
