Breña Baja and Benaocaz celebrate summer festivals in Spain
From July 31 to August 2, the municipality of Breña Baja on La Palma will host the 60th anniversary of the Fiesta de La Montaña, featuring traditional workshops, music, dance performances and the nightly Noche Mágica de Brujas. The programme includes the Subida de La Bruja procession, a verbena with live bands and a concluding Latin‑style fest.
On July 25, the Andalusian village of Benaocaz in the Sierra de Cádiz will hold its VI Noche de Velas. The historic medieval streets will be illuminated by thousands of candles, accompanied by a piano concert, a jazz‑electronic fusion set, a traditional band parade and a fire‑lighting performance, ending with a midnight show in the Plaza de las Libertades.
