Breña Baja defends municipal school admission process legality
The Breña Baja City Council government has defended the legality of the admission process for the Municipal Infant School following accusations of irregularity from the local PSOE group.
The municipal executive claims that the socialist representatives previously voted in favor of the scoring system, the final lists, and the allocation of places during the Information Commission. The local government argues that the PSOE is attempting to create doubt among families through claims that do not reflect reality.
Regarding transparency, the Council stated that while families have the right to consult their individual scores through established channels, the general publication of the full file is restricted to protect the personal, economic, and social data of minors. Mayor Borja Pérez challenged the PSOE to explain why they supported the agreements in municipal bodies if they believed there was a lack of transparency or legal protection.
