Breakers point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright returns from injury

The BNZ Breakers will receive a significant boost for their upcoming game against the Cairns Taipans with the earlier-than-expected return of point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright. Jackson-Cartwright is returning from a lower-leg injury; while he is expected to play, he will likely face minutes restrictions. Prior to his injury, he was averaging 26.6 points and 9.4 assists per game.

His return coincides with a major milestone for Breakers co-captain Reuben Te Rangi, who will compete in his 400th NBL game. In the absence of head coach Gordie Herbert, who is recovering from an illness, Sebastian Gleim will assume coaching duties for the road trip to Cairns.
