Breakout Days festival announces music contest in Rzeszów

The Breakout Days music festival, dedicated to the memory and musical legacy of Polish bluesman Tadeusz Nalepa, is hosting the Breakout Days Contest. The competition is open to blues and rock bands looking to showcase their skills and compete for cash prizes.

First place receives 4,000 PLN, second place 2,500 PLN, and third place 1,500 PLN. Additionally, a special prize consisting of a 3,000 PLN voucher from Miuu Guitars will be awarded to the best guitarist. The contest is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 12, at Rzeszowskie Piwnice.

Applications for the contest must be submitted by August 31, 2026. The festival aims to connect different generations of artists and audiences while promoting the work of Nalepa and his band, Breakout.
