Brecon police investigate individual entering residential property
Dyfed-Powys Police responded to reports of an individual entering a property in the Dewi Sant area of Brecon during the early hours of Tuesday, September 29. The individual entered the bedroom of the person who reported the incident through an unlocked door.
Authorities confirmed that while the individual “did not have permission to enter,” no offences under the Theft Act 1968 were committed. The individual was located by officers and given “strong words of advice” not to return to the property. No arrests were made, and police stated there is “no ongoing risk to the public.”
A second report was received regarding the individual, but they did not enter the property on that occasion. Police have advised residents to ensure external doors are locked at night to maintain home security.
