Breda jewelry store heavily damaged in ram-raid

A jewelry store in the center of Breda, located on Ginnekenstraat, sustained heavy damage after being targeted in a ram-raid involving two vehicles. The suspects drove into the storefront at high speed, causing the facade to partially collapse and sending debris meters away.

Police arrested two suspects at the scene, a 20-year-old man and a 35-year-old man without a fixed residence. However, authorities stated they are still searching for two additional suspects and have not ruled out the involvement of more individuals. It is currently unknown if any goods were stolen.

The incident caused structural instability in the building. During the response, a police officer and a dog had to be rescued by the fire department after becoming trapped inside the building due to the unstable facade. This is not the first time the shop has been targeted; a similar ram-raid occurred at the same location in September of last year.
