Brad Pitt's son keeps ties with father's family as siblings drop the Pitt surname

Paks Džoli‑Pit, the 22‑year‑old son of actor Brad Pitt, continues to spend time with his paternal relatives. He recently joined a family dinner celebrating his cousin Sidni's engagement, and sources say his aunt Jule Pit Nil and other cousins were present.

In contrast, Pitt's other children have taken steps to distance themselves from their father's name. Zahara Džoli‑Pit, Medoks Džoli, Šajlo Džoli and Noks Džoli have each filed court petitions in Los Angeles to legally remove "Pit" from their surnames, now using only the surname Džoli. The moves follow a long‑running custody battle and Brad Pitt’s 2016 divorce from actress Angelina Jolie, which was finalized in December 2024 after eight years of litigation.

The family’s internal rift remains public, with the children largely aligning with their mother’s side of the family while Paks maintains contact with the Pitt relatives.
