Breda theater event addresses financial concerns

The Stormkamer theater company will present ‘De Ontmoeting tussen Alles of Niets’ at the Chassé Theater in Breda on Thursday, November 12. This interactive performance explores the disparities between individuals with financial stability and those struggling to make ends meet each month.

Following the performance, guest Jörgen Raymann will share his personal experiences with financial difficulties and engage in a dialogue with the audience. The event is part of the campaign ‘Geldzorgen, met wie praat jij erover?’, which aims to reduce the stigma and shame associated with poverty and debt. Organizers note that financial stress can lead to mental and physical health issues, social isolation, and educational setbacks.

To ensure accessibility, the event uses a sliding scale for ticket prices, allowing visitors to choose between €5, €10, or €15. Free tickets are also available for those unable to afford the cost, with no explanation required.
