Breece Hall ruled week-to-week with quad injury

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is considered week-to-week following a quad injury sustained during a 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions. Hall, 25, exited the game in the fourth quarter after being tackled near the end zone.

An MRI performed on Monday reportedly provided positive news, as the injury was not as severe as initially feared. In the game, Hall recorded 13 carries for 32 yards and three receptions for 23 yards before his departure.

With Hall sidelined, Braelon Allen is expected to take the lead role in the Jets' backfield. Allen, who has previously served in a complementary role, will see increased usage while Hall recovers.
