Breel Embolo nears transfer to Atlanta United

Swiss striker Breel Embolo is set to transfer from French club Rennes to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Atlanta United. The deal is reportedly valued at approximately $18 million (€15 million).

Embolo, who recorded 10 goals and 3 assists in 34 appearances last season, had previously been linked to several European clubs, including Como, Napoli, Milan, and Bournemouth. However, the move to the United States appears finalized as Atlanta United seeks to bolster its attacking options.
