Breel Embolo scores in MLS debut to draw with Inter Miami

Breel Embolo secured a draw for Atlanta United in his MLS debut against Inter Miami. The match ended in a 2-2 tie, preventing a victory for the side led by Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Inter Miami took an early lead in the 32nd minute through a header from Casemiro following a Messi corner. Atlanta United equalized shortly after via Miguel Almirón. Suarez later restored Miami's lead before the end of the first half.

In the second half, Atlanta United was awarded a penalty in the 78th minute, but Miami goalkeeper Dean St. Clair successfully saved the attempt. However, Atlanta earned another penalty in the 87th minute, which Embolo converted with a precise shot to level the score.
