The historical fiction series Breendonk has been selected for the 53rd edition of Film Fest Gent. The first two episodes are scheduled to be screened on Wednesday, October 14, featuring the cast and creators.

Following its Belgian premiere in Gent, the series will be available exclusively on Streamz starting October 22, with subsequent weekly broadcasts on VRT 1 and VRT MAX. The production utilized the actual Fort Breendonk as a filming location, a site that was liberated by Allied forces on September 4, 1944, during the advance through Belgium.
