Breez launches Glow Bitcoin app with passkey login and stablecoin support

Tel Aviv‑based Bitcoin software provider Breez released its new application, Glow, on 6 August 2026. The app serves everyday users as a streamlined Lightning Network wallet and offers developers an open‑source toolkit built on the Breez SDK.

Glow introduces passkey authentication, customizable Lightning addresses, and the ability to send stablecoins such as USDT, USDC and the USDB token backed by Brale Inc. The non‑custodial design keeps user funds under their control while the SDK handles asset exchange and Lightning payments. Integrated on‑ramps from Cash App and MoonPay let users acquire Bitcoin instantly, and the app is available as a free MIT‑licensed progressive web app on iOS and Android.

Breez developed Glow in partnership with Bitcoin Spark and Flashnet, aiming to lower technical barriers and accelerate Bitcoin and Lightning adoption for both consumers and developers.
