Bregenzer Festspiele adds extra performance of La traviata for 2027

The Bregenzer Festspiele has announced an additional performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La traviata” for the 2027 season due to overwhelming demand. Originally scheduled for 28 shows on the Seebühne, the program will now include 29 performances, with the extra show set for August 23, 2027.

Commercial Director Michael Diem reported that the production is performing exceptionally well, with 60 percent of the approximately 195,000 available tickets already booked. This follows a highly successful 2026 season where all 28 scheduled performances of the Damiano Michieletto production were sold out, attracting roughly 193,500 visitors.
