Breguet unveils redesigned Marine collection for 250th anniversary
Breguet has introduced redesigned versions of its Marine collection to celebrate its 250th anniversary. The update features the Marine Chronographe 5527 in three new metal configurations: titanium, rose gold, and white gold.
A central aesthetic feature of the refresh is the ‘Quai de l’Horloge’ hand-guilloché pattern on the gold dials. This wave-like motif is inspired by the contours of the Île de la Cité and Île Saint-Louis in Paris, referencing the location of the brand's historic workshops. The new designs also include repositioned date windows at the 6 o'clock position to create a more symmetrical dial appearance.
The Marine Chronographe 5527 is powered by the automatic manufacture caliber 582QA, which includes a flyback function. The collection also includes the Marine 5517 time-and-date model. Pricing for the updated range varies by material, with titanium models starting at approximately EUR 23,700, while gold references with matching bracelets reach EUR 71,800.
