Brežice hosts traditional mayor's goulash competition

In Brežice, the Brežice October festival featured a traditional mayor's goulash competition held near the Water Tower. Ten teams participated in the culinary event, which aimed to unite various local tourism societies and celebrate regional customs.

The members of the Kapele Tourism Society were named the winners of the goulash competition, while the Pišece Tourism Society received recognition for the best-decorated stall. Mayor Ivan Molan emphasized the importance of tourism societies in maintaining the municipality's identity and supporting its development as a green destination.
