Police report multiple violent crimes across Germany and Austria
Various violent incidents and criminal activities have been reported across Germany and Austria.
In Austria, a 37-year-old man in Kumberg is under investigation after allegedly killing his eight-year-old daughter with a knife; the suspect attempted suicide and was subsequently detained. In the Vöcklabruck district, police arrested a 49-year-old man suspected of being a serial burglar responsible for 13 thefts. Additionally, three youths were detained in Spittal for allegedly throwing pyrotechnics from a car to film for social media.
In Germany, several serious crimes occurred: a 20-year-old man was found dead in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, leading to the arrest of a 23-year-old roommate. In Göttingen, a 31-year-old man was critically injured in a stabbing, resulting in the arrest of a 29-year-old suspect. In Fulda, a 46-year-old man is in custody following a fatal attack on his elderly parents. Other reported crimes include a robbery at a Regensburg gas station, a theft in Bremen involving individuals posing as police officers, and a verbal altercation in Gießen involving hate speech and physical resistance.
