Bremen implements new parking regulations in Neustadt-West
Bremen is implementing new parking regulations in the Neustadt-West district as part of its “Parken in Quartieren” (Parking in Neighborhoods) pilot project. The initiative aims to improve traffic safety and accessibility through reorganized parking, resident parking permits, and accompanying mobility measures.
Work involving new road markings and traffic signs is expected to conclude by the end of October. Starting in November, resident parking will be enforced 24/7 across three newly established zones:
• Zone 21C (Neustadtswall): Located between Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, Osterstraße, Westerstraße, Große Sortilienstraße, B6, and Neustadtscontrescarpe/Am Hohentorsplatz. • Zone 21D (Hohentor): Located between Neuenlander Straße, Langemarckstraße, Neustadtscontrescarpe/Am Hohentorsplatz, and the B6. • Zone 21E (Delmestraße): Located between Neuenlander Straße, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, Neustadtscontrescarpe, and Langemarckstraße.
Residents with valid permits may park in their designated zone without time restrictions. Applications for resident parking permits, visitor tickets, and commercial exemptions have been accepted by the Amt für Straßen und Verkehr (ASV) since August 1.
