Bremerhaven hosts punk rock tribute concert

The band Alex im Westerland is scheduled to perform at the Bremerhaven Musiksommer on Thursday, August 27. The Frankfurt-based four-piece group performs a tribute to two major German punk rock bands, Die Ärzte and Die Toten Hosen, combining hits from both artists into a single rock show.

The performance will take place at the Schaufenster Fischereihafen starting at 7:00 PM and is free to the public. The band aims for authenticity through multi-part vocals and faithful guitar solos.

As the Musiksommer series approaches its conclusion, Erlebnis Bremerhaven GmbH is seeking donations and the sale of limited-edition fan T-shirts to help fund the concert series for future years, including 2027.
