Brenda Brinkmann addresses 'Ex on the Beach' controversy

Brenda Brinkmann has addressed her controversial behavior on the reality show ‘Ex on the Beach’ during an RTL+ aftershow podcast. The 23-year-old expressed regret over her actions, stating she could not identify with her behavior on screen and describing herself as having been ‘disgusting and evil’ during the filming.

Brinkmann admitted that her actions were driven by an inability to acknowledge that she still loved her ex-partner, Laurenz Pesch. The conflict follows allegations of infidelity involving an Italian man during her time in Thailand, as well as a reported police intervention at a Cologne club involving the former couple prior to the show's filming.

Following the public backlash and a ‘shitstorm’ on social media, Brinkmann’s social media management has reportedly ended their collaboration with her.
