Brendan Hunt discusses potential for Ted Lasso Season 5

Following the conclusion of the fourth season of ‘Ted Lasso’ on Apple TV+, actor and writer Brendan Hunt has addressed the possibility of a fifth season. While the season finale left several narrative threads open, Hunt noted that the cast has generally hoped for a continuation.

In an interview with Variety, Hunt stated that lead actor and co-creator Jason Sudeikis remains private regarding his intentions for the series, noting, “He plays the cards close to his chest, and I’m not privy to whatever poker game that I hope is happening between the powers that be.”

Despite the potential for more episodes, Hunt expressed that the series reached a satisfying conclusion, stating, “If it ends up just being one, then OK, that’s fine. It did end nicely.” Apple has not yet made an official announcement regarding a renewal.
