Lake Garda authorities capture record number of wild boars

Authorities in the Lake Garda region of Italy are taking decisive action to manage a growing wild boar problem. In a single night, officials captured a record 18 wild boars in the area between Torri del Benaco and Albisano. The operation, involving the Verona provincial police and local hunters, aims to reduce risks to residents and travelers following incidents where animals approached settlements and caused accidents, including one where a cyclist was seriously injured.
