Brenno Casagrande gains viral attention with Djavan cover

Singer and songwriter Brenno Casagrande has gained viral attention on social media for his rendition of the Djavan classic “Pétala”. The performance is part of NUSOM, an intimate audiovisual project recorded in Salvador.

Casagrande, a Bahia-based artist, has spent much of his career behind the scenes, having composed nearly 500 songs recorded by major artists such as Luan Santana, Gusttavo Lima, and Jorge & Mateus. This new phase of his career focuses on his own voice and his connection to MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). The full NUSOM project is available on YouTube.
